While Arsenal will then have two games in hand, Liverpool can stretch their lead to 16 points on Saturday.

There’s a vital game in the race for Champions League qualification at the City Ground, while Manchester United and Arsenal clash in a fixture that is far less important than it once was.

Nottingham Forest vs Manchester City betting tips

Nottingham Forest have lost their last three meetings with Manchester City without scoring.

But the unstoppable City is long gone. Since their win at Chelsea on the opening weekend of the season, Pep Guardiola’s side have not won away from home against a side currently above 13th in the table.

With Forest unbeaten for nine home matches in all competitions, they should secure a positive result.

Scoreline prediction

Nottingham Forest 1-1 Manchester City (39/5 with Matchbook)

FIRST’s top tip:

Double chance: Nottingham Forest/Draw (9/10 with Vegasland)

Brighton vs Fulham betting tips

Brighton and Fulham are two of the in-form teams in the Premier League. Both had good away wins in the FA Cup last weekend too. This should be a good game.

It is a match up which has favoured the west Londoners. Fulham have won four of the last five meetings and are unbeaten across the nine clashes which have occurred in the Premier League.

Marco Silva’s side should earn at least a point.

Scoreline prediction

Brighton 1-1 Fulham (57/10 with Spinzwin)

FIRST’s top tip:

Double chance: Fulham/Draw (3/4 with Luckster)

Crystal Palace vs Ipswich betting tips

Ipswich have suffered more defeats by at least two goals at home than they have on the road this season. There’s a good chance they will lose by that margin at Crystal Palace, though.

The Eagles are in great form. Since the November international break, only Arsenal and Liverpool have won more points.

The only dampener may be the sickening injury suffered by Jean-Philippe Mateta last weekend, but his teammates should come through against the struggling Tractor Boys.

Scoreline prediction

Crystal Palace 2-0 Ipswich (11/2 with Zetbet)

FIRST’s top tip:

Handicap: Crystal Palace -1 (6/5 with Luckster)

Liverpool vs Southampton betting tips

With a second leg Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain to come on Tuesday, Liverpool may rest a star player or two here.

But with top of the table hosting bottom, the Reds should have too much regardless.

Southampton have lost their last six visits to Anfield by an aggregate score of 19-1. It’s impossible to see how this match isn’t a stroll for Liverpool.

Scoreline prediction

Liverpool 3-0 Southampton (11/2 with Bet442)

FIRST’s top tip:

Liverpool win to nil (19/20 with Zetbet)

Brentford vs Aston Villa betting tips

This is the match to watch for goals this weekend. Aston Villa top the 2024/25 Premier League for matches in which both teams scored, and there were at least three goals.

And who’s just one such game behind them? Brentford.

As well as this selection paying out a lot for these teams this season, it has been successful in the last three meetings and two of the last three in west London.

There should be goals, goals, goals.

Scoreline prediction

Brentford 2-1 Aston Villa (8/1 with Spreadex)

FIRST’s top tip:

Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals (31/50 with Mr.Play)

Wolves vs Everton betting tips

Everton have had the fewest Premier League matches this term in which both teams scored.

That was the old Blues, though, the Sean Dyche version. Things are different under David Moyes, with Everton having scored and conceded in their last four league games, something unimaginable before Moyes returned.

The only Wolves match in the last four which didn’t see both sides score featured a 17th minute red card. There’ll be action at both ends of Molineux.

Scoreline prediction

Wolves 1-1 Everton (17/4 with Vegasland)

FIRST’s top tip:

Both teams to score: Yes (83/100 with Bet442)

Chelsea vs Leicester betting tips

If you’re due a goal, you will love seeing the Leicester bus pull up outside your stadium. Chelsea’s Cole Palmer needs a goal more than just about anyone.

He has failed to score in his last six Premier League games. But, oh boy, has he been trying. In those matches, Palmer had 23 shots collectively worth over two expected goals.

Somebody will pay for this barren run soon. It’s bound to be Leicester.

Scoreline prediction

Chelsea 3-0 Leicester City (31/5 with Spinzwin)

FIRST’s top tip:

Cole Palmer to score anytime (4/6 with Spreadex)

Tottenham vs Bournemouth betting tips

Bournemouth lost their last away game, at Brighton but were unbeaten in their eight previous matches on the road with six victories. They will fancy their chances of starting another winning run at Tottenham.

After all, Spurs have won just once in their previous nine league games at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Even then, it was against Manchester United, the one big club having a worse season than they are.

The Cherries can take this one.

Scoreline prediction

Tottenham 1-2 Bournemouth (8/1 with Mr.Play)

FIRST’s top tip:

Draw no bet: Bournemouth (22/25 with BetMGM)

Manchester United vs Arsenal betting tips

Arsenal will be buzzing after their 7-1 win at PSV Eindhoven. Having had extra rest than Manchester United, they will feel confident about their trip to Old Trafford.

But they should feel good about it regardless, as United have been desperately poor on home soil this season.

A confident Gunners side should win a high-scoring match.

Scoreline prediction

Manchester Utd 1-2 Arsenal (13/2 with Luckster)

FIRST’s top tip:

Arsenal win and over 2.5 goals (19/10 with Bet442)

West Ham vs Newcastle betting tips

The Monday night football takes us to West Ham. Newcastle are in town, and they are unbeaten in their last five trips to the London Stadium, with three wins.

While they lost their last two away games, there’s no shame in defeat at Manchester City and Liverpool.

Similarly, the Hammers might have won their last home game, but beating Leicester proves very little.

Without the suspended Anthony Gordon, Newcastle need to find form ahead of the Carabao Cup final next weekend. A morale-boosting win here should do it.

Scoreline prediction

West Ham 0-2 Newcastle (13/1 with Matchbook)

FIRST’s top tip:

Newcastle to win (23/20 with BetMGM)
