IMAGO Christopher Nkunku is looking to score his first goal against London rivals Tottenham on Thursday.

It’s over two weeks since we last saw action in the Premier League. The run-in very much starts here.

Some of the games in this match week carry more weight for bragging rights than they do for the league table, with key fixtures including a Merseyside derby and an all-London affair between Chelsea and Tottenham.

Arsenal vs Fulham betting tips

This looks tricky for Arsenal, they may well win but there’s no value there for bettors. Fulham are unbeaten in the previous three meetings and have very strong expected goal statistics this season.

The home side should prevail, having had a free weekend while the visitors were in FA Cup action. However, Marco Silva’s men will make the Gunners work for the three points.

Since a 1-0 loss at Old Trafford in their season opener, Fulham have scored in every away game in all competitions. There should be goals at both ends here.

Scoreline prediction

Arsenal 2-1 Fulham (13/2 with Vegasland)

FIRST’s top tip:

Both teams to score: Yes (13/9 with Matchbook)

Wolves vs West Ham betting tips

West Ham won their previous visit to Molineux 12 months ago this week.

They stand a decent chance of repeating the 2-1 victory they enjoyed that day. That was the score at the London Stadium when they beat Wolves in December too.

The Hammers are more competent on the road since Graham Potter took over. He masterminded a win at Arsenal, a draw at Aston Villa and got a point at Everton which would have been three but for a 91st minute goal.

Another positive result looks likely.

Scoreline prediction

Wolves 1-2 West Ham (44/5 with Spinzwin)

FIRST’s top tip:

Draw no bet: West Ham (11/10 with Luckster)

Nottingham Forest vs Manchester United betting tips

By the disappointing standards of 2024/25, Manchester United are on a decent run. It remains a huge task for them to get something here though.

Nottingham Forest are unbeaten in their last eight league games at home. It is a run which saw them face four of the established big six clubs, plus they thumped Brighton 7-0 along the way.

Having faced the Seagulls on Saturday in the FA Cup, a lack of rest is the one disadvantage Forest cede to United. They should overcome it though.

Scoreline prediction

Nottingham Forest 2-0 Manchester United (17/2 with Mr.Play)

FIRST’s top tip:

Nottingham Forest win (5/4 with Coral)

Bournemouth vs Ipswich betting tips

Bournemouth are on a poor run, meaning a visit from struggling Ipswich will be welcome.

The Tractor Boys have conceded two goals per away game this season, a record which will aid the Cherries who have struggled to score recently.

But if you assume Bournemouth will win, and they should note that nine of their 12 league victories in 2024/25 have been in matches featuring at least three goals.

Scoreline prediction

Bournemouth 3-0 Ipswich Town (17/2 with Spreadex)

FIRST’s top tip:

Bournemouth win and over 2.5 goals (10/11 with Ladbrokes)

Brighton vs Aston Villa betting tips

Both teams were in FA Cup action this weekend. Brighton have an extra day of rest, which could prove crucial.

The Seagulls are also on a good run at home. They won their last three league games at the Amex Stadium, beating Chelsea, Bournemouth and Fulham.

While Aston Villa have been better away from home of late, their record for the season still leaves a lot to be desired. Brighton to win.

Scoreline prediction

Brighton 2-1 Aston Villa (15/2 with Bet442)

FIRST’s top tip:

Brighton win (Evens with Zetbet)

Manchester City vs Leicester betting tips

Manchester City have a weird record with Leicester. They normally win away to nil but concede at the Etihad Stadium.

It’s impossible to back the Foxes to score anywhere, as they have netted just twice in their last nine league games.

At least both goals occurred in a 2-1 win at Tottenham. But eight shut-outs from nine matches shows why you must assume City will keep a rare home clean sheet against Leicester.

Scoreline prediction

Manchester City 3-0 Leicester (11/2 with Luckster)

FIRST’s top tip:

Manchester City win to nil (Evens with Spreadex)

Newcastle vs Brentford betting tips

St James’ Park will be bouncing for the return of their Carabao Cup-winning heroes. It’s hard to see mid-table Brentford avoiding defeat against a fired-up Newcastle.

However, the Bees scored in four of their last five visits. Just five teams in the Premier League have scored in more defeats this season, with Tottenham the only such club who are outside the bottom four.

Scoreline prediction

Newcastle 3-1 Brentford (19/2 with BetMGM)

FIRST’s top tip:

Newcastle win and both teams to score (7/4 with Vegasland)

Southampton vs Crystal Palace betting tips

Crystal Palace are unbeaten in seven games on the road, having won six and kept a clean sheet every time.

They should also win against a poor Southampton side. However, where five of their last seven away matches saw a maximum of two goals, this should feature more.

Games at St Mary’s Stadium usually do. Southampton’s last five league matches there saw 20 goals, with the Saints only scoring three of them.

Scoreline prediction

Southampton 1-3 Crystal Palace (10/1 with Mr.Play)

FIRST’s top tip:

Over 3.5 goals (41/20 with Spinzwin)

Liverpool vs Everton betting tips

Diogo Jota is suffering a goal drought.

But he has had opportunities. Since he last scored in the Premier League, he had four shots against Wolves and six at Villa Park.

Jota had Liverpool’s only Opta-defined big chance of the Carabao Cup final prior to stoppage time. He has missed his last six golden opportunities, a run destined to end soon for a forward of his quality.

Scoreline prediction

Liverpool 2-0 Everton (11/2 with Spreadex)

FIRST’s top tip:

Diogo Jota to score any time (37/20 with BetMGM)

Chelsea vs Tottenham betting tips

Expect the unexpected when Chelsea face Tottenham. The Blues came from 2-0 down to eventually win the reverse fixture 4-3.

Their meetings at Stamford Bridge tend to be more restrained, with three of the previous four ending in 2-0 home wins.

But no Premier League team has had more wins payout on over 2.5 goals than Chelsea this season. With Tottenham keeping few clean sheets, that feels a likely outcome here.

Scoreline prediction

Chelsea 2-1 Tottenham (31/5 with Matchbook)

FIRST’s top tip:

Chelsea win and over 2.5 goals (Evens with Coral)
