Liverpool state of play

Premier League leaders Liverpool are looking to bounce back from a nightmare week before the international break that has taken a bit of gloss off their campaign. And will be buoyed by the Liverpool Foundation's latest charity partnership that will look to support 500,000 people a season by 2030

This is just one of the pivotal matches in gameweek 30 which features all 20 teams in action, and we have our Premier League betting tips for all 10 matches with top tips and predictions.

A penalty shootout defeat to Paris Saint-Germain saw Arne Slot's side crash out of the Champions League before losing to Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley.

Liverpool still boast a 12-point advantage at the Premier League summit, but fans will hope to see their side bag local bragging rights with a dominant performance to ease any jitters ahead of the run-in.

Everton state of play

A nine-game unbeaten streak has seen Everton climb to 15th in the Premier League table and, more importantly, build a 17-point buffer to the relegation zone.

That means David Moyes can start planning for next season and the start of a new era as the club embarks on the highly-anticipated move to their new stadium.

Everton bagged a point in the season's first Merseyside derby thanks to James Tarkowski's dramatic last-gasp goal that sparked wild scenes at Goodison Park and the Toffees are looking to win at Anfield for the first time since February 2021.

Key talking point: Can Liverpool get back on track against tough Toffees?

An emphatic victory against Everton to move one step closer to the Premier League crown would be the perfect way for Liverpool to respond to their Champions League and Carabao Cup disappointments.

The Reds - led by main man Mohamed Salah - have been sensational on home soil in their quest for the league title as they have claimed maximum points from 11 of their 14 Anfield fixtures.

They will be expected to make it 12 home league victories, but Everton should make it tricky.

Just six teams have conceded fewer goals on their travels, the Toffees have only lost nine of their 29 fixtures and they should play with freedom knowing they are safe from relegation.

On the contrary, Everton's recent record in this fixture makes for grim reading, having lost eight of the last 10 meetings at Anfield and Moyes has been beaten in his last nine trips to Anfield.

FIRST’s top tip for Liverpool vs Everton

Liverpool & over 1.5 goals - 8/13 (Betway)

The selection has landed in Liverpool's last four home games as well as the last three meetings between these two clubs at Anfield.

Extra tips

Mohamed Salah to score anytime - 7/10 (Betway)

Salah has scored in 10 of Liverpool's 14 home games in the current Premier League campaign. He netted in last month's thriller at Goodison Park and is the Reds' designated penalty taker.

Idrissa Gueye 2+ fouls committed - 1/1 (Betway)

Our tipsters seem to be on the same length as Oli Nixon picked this one out in his recent Top of the Props betting tips. The Everton ace is averaging 1.69 fouls per 90 minutes and is likely to be putting out plenty of fires in midfield.

Team news

Alisson and Ryan Gravenberch should be fit to feature for Liverpool despite leaving international duty early. Jarell Quansah is likely to continue at right-back as Trent Alexander-Arnold, Conor Bradley and Joe Gomez are not fit to feature.

A thigh injury means Vitalii Mykolenko is a doubt for Everton, the game is likely to come too soon for Iliman Ndiaye and Dwight McNeil, while Dominic Calvert-Lewin remains unavailable.

Liverpool vs Everton predicted line-ups

Liverpool: Alisson; Quansah, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Mac Allister, Gravenberch, Szoboszlai; Salah, Diaz, Gakpo (4-3-3)

Everton: Pickford; O'Brien, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Young; Alcaraz, Gueye, Garner, Doucoure, Harrison; Beto (4-5-1)
