- Leg 4 – Liverpool to beat Manchester City @ 21/20 [Sunday 4pm]
After thrilling action in European competition, we’re returning to domestic games and we’ve got some cracking fixtures to enjoy. Here at FIRST, we’ve found four of the best matches from both the Premier League and Bundesliga that offer some of the best value plays.
Leg 1 – Arsenal to beat West Ham & over 1.5 goals @ 73/100 [Saturday 5:30pm]
Arsenal travel to West Ham with Mikel Arteta's side hoping to close the gap on Premier League leaders Liverpool.
The Gunners have won their last two games including their impressive 5-1 demolition of Sporting CP on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, West Ham pulled off a surprise win at Newcastle on Monday to distance themselves from the relegation zone.
Despite the Hammers' victory at St James' Park, we can't see anything but an Arsenal victory considering they've won their last two outings by an aggregate score of 8-1.
We’re adding in over 1.5 goals too. It's landed in Arsenal's last three games and in 10 of West Ham's last 11 outings.
Leg 2 – Bayern Munich to beat Borussia Dortmund & over 2.5 goals @ 101/100 [Saturday 5:30pm]
Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich travel to fifth-placed Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.
Bayern are six points clear and they're still unbeaten under Vincent Kompany in the league (won nine, drawn two). They come into Saturday's clash in fine fettle after their 1-0 victory against PSG in the Champions League.
Dortmund also won in the Champions League this week but they've struggled to find consistency in the Bundesliga, with Nuri Şahin's side alternating between wins and losses in their last nine outings.
Bayern should have too much quality for their rivals and we've added in over 2.5 goals to boost the odds. It's landed in Dortmund's last nine league games and in five of Bayern's last six.
Leg 3 – Over 5.5 cards in Chelsea vs Aston Villa @ 33/50 [Sunday 1:30pm]
Chelsea will also look to close the gap on Liverpool as the Blues host Aston Villa.
Villa are winless in their last seven games in all competitions but they're still dangerous. Chelsea have shown improvement under Enzo Maresca but we're staying away from picking a winner.
Instead, we're going with over 5.5 cards. Chelsea have been awarded a league-high 45 yellow cards and their games are averaging 3.75 cards. Villa's average is 2.6 cards per game, with Unai Emery's side picking up 30 yellows and one red.
Expect a feisty affair at Stamford Bridge!
Leg 4 – Liverpool to beat Manchester City @ 21/20 [Sunday 4pm]
Finally, we’re looking at the biggest game of the weekend as Liverpool host Manchester City.
The Reds, who beat Real Madrid in the Champions League this week, are eight points clear at the top of the table as Arne Slot looks to win the Premier League title in his debut season.
City, by their incredibly high standards, are in trouble. It looked like they'd beaten Feyenoord in the Champions League to end their five-game losing run with Pep Guardiola's side 3-0 up. However, they conceded three times after the 73rd minute to see the game finish 3-3.
Liverpool have won 10 of their 12 outings while boasting the best defensive record in the league. It’s hard to see City’s poor run ending at Anfield.
