Ted's Treble: Three picks from Leicester and Ffos Las
Ed Quigley has been in stunning form, and is back with three value plays for the action at Leicester and Ffos Las on Tuesday.
Leicester - 1.20 Fen Tiger e/w
FEN TIGER loves the mud and has a terrific record at Leicester, so a return to this venue is a big tick box for the seven-year-old. He's been on a long losing spell since winning this race three years ago, but is now starting to look very well handicapped, arriving into this off a BHA mark of 48 - 6lb lower than when last successful.
With two course and distance wins on the CV, connections will be confident that they have every opportunity of enhancing the record once again. There is plenty of rain forecast, so the prospect of really attritional conditions underfoot is likely.
I think Fen Tiger looks the each-way angle in a fairly wide-open looking encounter. Mr Jack Lander takes the ride on the gelding, who has every chance of getting back to winning ways.

Ffos Las - 2.58 Madaket e/w
It wouldn't be an unfair comment to say that MADAKET can be a tricky customer, but I think Philip Hobbs and Johnson White will be looking at the weather forecast and hoping there is plenty of rain around. He won a Handicap Hurdle at Wincanton last season in ground that was almost unraceable, so if conditions really do deteriorate in west Wales, it won't be to his disadvantage.
He was underwhelming on his Chase debut at Lingfield back in February, but that came after a few hard races in the winter and by then I think his petrol light was coming on. He has a very good record when fresh, and I think this step up to 3m1f on a flat, galloping track will really suit.
Callum Pritchard claims 5lb and takes the ride on the seven-year-old who should have more to offer. I think this combination can easily get involved at the business end of proceedings.
Ted's Talk: Our man Quigley chatted with Jamie Snowden who gave him the lowdown on his stable stars
Ffos Las - 3.28 Willmount e/w
WILLMOUNT was a horse who had plenty of potential in his younger days with Nicky Henderson, but he didn't quite hit the heights expected. However, he has now joined the Rebecca Curtis team and steps back up in trip for his Chase debut.
Connections will be hoping that this relatively unexposed sort can have plenty to offer in this sphere. The step back up in distance should suit, and gets eased by the accessor to a BHA mark of 128.
With a clear round, he could prove well ahead of that rating and has gone well fresh in the past. Jamie Brace takes the ride, claiming 5lb, so for a horse who showed his level of spark as a youngster, he could be underestimated.
I think he can put in a solid performance here for the first time of asking over the larger obstacles.
