Ted's Weekend Treble: A trixie of tips for Sunday's Kempton Park action
There is a lot of exciting action at Kempton on Sunday, and Ed Quigley lines up his three best bets at the Sunbury venue...
Kempton - 2.16 Obsessedwithyou
As Jamie Snowden has his string in outrageous form, recent Sedgefield scorer OBSESSEDWITHYOU can follow up here under Gavin Sheehan in this better race. The Mare has been in cracking form over fences, winning three times, and she is suited by decent ground and a small field.
The aforementioned Snowden yard is operating at well over 40% for their October strike-rate, and looks poised to enhance that statistic here. The mare has to cope with a 6lb hike in the weights, but she is a solid jumper and looks to have the scope for more improvement.
A few of her rivals haven't been firing on all cylinders as of late, and she has the opportunity to get the job done here.

Kempton - 3.16 Rare Edition
RARE EDITION hasn't been the most straightforward to predict and by all accounts the easiest to train, but looks to have a great opportunity here to get back in the winner's enclosure.
The Charlie Longsdon team have been amongst the winners lately, and it is worth noting that Rare Edition has an exceptional record first time out for the season, winning twice on his reappearance after a summer break.
This looks like the time to catch the eight-year-old, who looks fairly treated off 135, loves Kempton, and has underfoot conditions that are likely to be spot-on for him.
There are other horses in here who will perhaps need the run on their respective comeback trail, and I think it looks very much a case of right place, right time for the son of Califet, who is a classy operator on his day.
David Bass takes the ride, and a bold show is expected.

Kempton - 3.50 Rubaud
This has been the race for RUBAUD for the last two years, and he is very much in his happy hunting ground here. The winner of this assignment in 2022 and 2023, he comes alive at this track, where he has four wins overall at the venue.
Decent ground and a flat, right-handed track clearly suit as his CV would suggest, and the Paul Nicholls-trained runner gets to strut his stuff once again. He has a cracking record when fresh, and should enjoy the return to smaller obstacles after failing to convince as a Chaser.
Harry Cobden takes the ride on the seven-year-old who is likely to be primed for this, whereas Burdett Road potentially may have his eye on bigger targets down the line. This is a clash not to miss.
