Luis Diaz next club betting odds: Barcelona lead race for Liverpool winger

Luis Diaz’s Liverpool future has been thrown into question, as rumours of a transfer away from Anfield circle the Colombian international.

Barcelona – 4/7 (Ladbrokes)

Reigning La Liga champions, Barcelona, are firm favourites to acquire Luis Diaz’s services during the 2025 summer transfer window. 

A move for the Colombian would represent excellent business for the Catalan side - with sporting director and ex-midfielder, Deco, publicly outlining his admiration for Liverpool’s left-sided forward in recent weeks.

At 4/7 with Ladbrokes, a switch to Spain serves as the most likely outcome for Diaz. However, the Catalan club must meet Liverpool’s £70m asking price. 

According to reports, Barcelona’s budget sits far below that figure.

Any Saudi Arabian team – 3/1 (Coral)

There is no doubt that any of the four Saudi Arabian teams funded by the state’s Public Investment Fund could afford to meet Liverpool’s weighty demands for Diaz. However, it is up to each club to decide whether the 17-goal man is worth chasing.

Should he agree to a transfer, Diaz would sit alongside other former Liverpool players, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Fabinho, as high-profile imports from the red half of Merseyside to Saudi.

Swapping England for the Middle East comes in at 3/1 with Coral. 

Real Madrid – 16/1 (Betfred)

Xabi Alonso’s ‘Galacticos’ have already snatched Trent Alexander-Arnold from Arne Slot – so a swoop for Liverpool’s first-choice left-winger would cause quite a stir at L4.

But Real Madrid are not short on attacking options. Between Vinicius Junior, Kylian Mbappe, Rodrygo, Endrick, Brahim Diaz and Arda Guler, the Santiago Bernabeu is teaming with creative goalscorers.

Bayern Munich – 20/1 (Ladbrokes)

Germany’s most imposing outfit now presides over a wealth of attackers enjoying their prime years – as Serge Gnabry, Leroy Sane, Kingsley Coman and Michael Olise are all aged between 23 and 29.

Therefore, Luis Diaz fits Die Roten’s age bracket. 

Bayern also have previous when it comes to signing Reds attackers nearing the end of their contract, with Sadio Mane departing for Munich in 2022. 

Should talks materialise, Ladbrokes’ 20/1 odds could prove lucrative.

Bayer Leverkusen – 50/1 (Coral)

Leverkusen could enter the picture by way of a player swap – with Florian Wirtz poised to join Liverpool before the transfer window shuts in September. 

Representatives on both sides have held pivotal talks over the last several weeks to form a deal. As things stand, neither faction has proposed an adequate settlement.

While Harvey Elliot’s name has been floated in a possible player-plus-cash agreement, Liverpool may attempt to lessen the overall fee for Wirtz by offering Diaz to the BayArena. 

It’s a long shot but, at 50/1 with Coral, there is potential in this bet.
