Liverpool transfer odds: Reds target Rodrygo, Hugo Ekitike and Alexander Isak

Arne Slot is set to receive significant financial backing from Fenway Sports Group (FSG) over the next several weeks, as Liverpool ramp up efforts to onboard fresh talent.

The Reds remain keen on a number of Europe’s most sought-after players – with potential departures expected to leave ample room for arrivals; Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez and Federico Chiesa are all on the chopping block.

UK bookmakers have begun to roll out updated odds in accordance with these developments, and you can find the best prices on players to join the 2024/25 Premier League champions here.

Alexander Isak – 4/5 (Ladbrokes)

Newcastle’s Swedish superstar has long been admired by Liverpool’s transfer department.

This interest culminated in a recent tangible approach towards Newcastle for Alexander Isak. According to media reports, the Magpies rebuffed discussions initiated from Merseyside – but it is believed a fee of £120m would see Isak move on.

Ladbrokes have Isak to Liverpool at 4/5 and, considering the alleged ‘leak’ of the side’s desired £120m figure, there is likely some truth to these rumours.

These odds represent the best available price before any transfer materialises – so it’s well worth taking Ladbrokes’ selection before further developments come to the fore.

Hugo Ekitike – 4/6 (Coral)

As one of the most promising young forwards in European football, Hugo Ekitike has been linked with a slew of continental giants this summer.

Newcastle and Liverpool have both been tied to the 23-year-old striker – who has been used as something of a bargaining chip by the latter.

It has been reported that Liverpool will hone in on Ekitike if Newcastle do not relinquish Alexander Isak.

However, if Eddie Howe decides to let go of his Premier League-proven finisher, Arne Slot will not stand in the way of a move from Newcastle for Eintracht Frankfurt’s top scorer.

With Newcastle determined to hold on to Isak, Liverpool could well bid for Ekitike before the week is out.

This one is priced at 4/6 with Coral.

Marc Guehi – 5/4 (bet365)

Two critical factors have influenced whispers of Marc Guehi to Liverpool: Jarell Quansah’s switch to Bayer Leverkusen and Ibrahima Konate’s apparent inclination to run down the final year of his contract.

And, as Virgil van Dijk enters the final two years of his contract, the club would benefit from the addition of Crystal Palace’s centre-back.

Still just 25 years old, Guehi could play a vital part at the heart of Liverpool’s backline. At 5/4, UK bookmaker bet365 have the ex-Chelsea man as the most probable defensive acquisition at L4 during this transfer window.

Rodrygo – 7/4 (bet365)

With 68 goals in 270 appearances, Rodrygo is far from a failure at Real Madrid.

As much is proven by his links to Liverpool, Arsenal and Bayern Munich – with bet365 pinning the reigning English champions at 7/4 to sign the 24-year-old.

Whether Luis Diaz remains a Liverpool player beyond July will likely play a major role in this transfer; the Colombian has declared his preference to seek a new challenge with the club’s hierarchy.

Rodrygo would represent a more-than-adequate replacement.
