Premier League Darts betting tips: Berlin awaits as Luke Littler aims for a three-peat
Luke Littler is at it again. The teenager defeated Luke Humphries in the final last week to win for the fourth time in the Premier League this season.
His victory contributed to a successful night of Premier League betting predictions from FIRST too.

Littler conceded just four legs across his three matches in what was a sublime display by the current world champion.
Stephen Bunting is still winless having suffered defeat against Littler, while Chris Dobey’s form isn’t much better, going down 6-3 against Humphries.
Nathan Aspinall is just two points from the playoff spots and he is hitting form at precisely the right time, securing an impressive victory over Michael Van Gerwen in Newcastle.
The Premier League heads to Berlin for night nine. Will Littler win for the third night in a row? He definitely is the short-priced favourite in the market this week. Or can someone else break his stranglehold on the event this week? Germany will be in for a cracker of an evening.
Quarter-final fixtures for night nine in Berlin
Nathan Aspinall vs Stephen Bunting
Luke Humphries vs Rob Cross
Chris Dobey vs Luke Littler
Michael van Gerwen vs Gerwyn Price
Key talking points: Gerwyn Price could shine in Germany
The opening match of the evening is between Aspinall and Bunting, two players who have something to prove. Aspinall sits sixth in the Premier League table and suffered a shock first round defeat to Stefan Bellmont at Players Championship 10 on Tuesday.
He did secure a 6-5 win over Michael Van Gerwen on night eight however, averaging 97.09 and hitting three 180s in the process. The question is, which version of Aspinall will turn up in Berlin?
Bunting has now lost eight matches in a row in the competition. Although he did return to form in Leicester on Tuesday, reaching the quarter-finals of Players Championship nine.
Luke Humphries takes on Rob Cross in a game which could be a lot closer than expected. Cross won their previous meeting 6-4 on night five, taking revenge from the week before when he suffered a 6-5 defeat to the 2024 world champion.
After losing three successive quarter-finals in the league, Humphries returned to form last week, reaching the final in Newcastle.
He may have lost to Littler, but signs were encouraging that he is back to his best.
Littler perhaps couldn’t have asked for an easier task in Berlin. Chris Dobey has won just one game since reaching the final way back on the opening night and that was against Bunting two weeks ago.
Last week, Littler thrashed Humphries 6-1 in the final, despite not being at his swashbuckling best. A last-eight loss to Scott Williams in Leicester on Tuesday won't dampen his preparations, however.
Arguably the most intriguing quarter-final of the evening is between Van Gerwen and Price. What makes Premier League Darts perfect to bet on is, at their best, the pair can be devastating.
Yet the consistency hasn’t exactly been on display this season.
Price has won two nightly crowns so far, while also storming to victory on Monday at Players Championship nine with an 8-4 over Ian White.
If the pair turn up in the mood, the match could be a thriller.
FIRST’s top tip for Premier League Darts night nine
Price won the previous clash between the pair 6-4 at the European Tour event in Gottingen a couple of weeks ago.
Seven of Price’s 13 games have gone over 9.5 legs, with Van Gerwen seeing eight of his 15 ties going over the same number.
Thus, siding with Van Gerwen and Price over 9.5 legs at 4/5 on BetMGM is our best bet of the week.
Pick: Van Gerwen and Price over 9.5 legs - 4/5 (BetMGM)
Extra tips
Luke Litter to hit over 4.5 180s against Chris Dobey – 4/6 (BetMGM)
Littler has already recorded 102 180s in the Premier League this season, 52 more than Humphries, who is second in the rankings.
Given his recent form, to hit five or more 180s, especially against an opponent such as Dobey, should be more than achievable.
Luke Humphries to average over 99.5 against Rob Cross – 4/5 (BetMGM)
Across 17 games so far in the 2025 Premier League season, Humphries averages 99.45. if he performs at his very best against Cross, he should comfortably average over 100 and see this bet come in.
Nathan Aspinall -1.5 leg handicap against Stephen Bunting – 29/20 (BetMGM)
As mentioned, Bunting is on the worst losing streak in the Premier League since this format was introduced in 2022.
Aspinall has performed well in recent weeks, including an impressive victory over Van Gerwen in Newcastle.
The ‘Asp’ secured a comfortable 6-2 win over Bunting a few weeks ago during night five. Expect something similar in Berlin.
Odds correct at the time of writing.
