Ted's Treble: Three picks for the action at Lingfield

Ed Quigley was amongst the winners over the weekend and is back once again with his best bets for Tuesday's action.

Lingfield - 1.15 Cinquenta

As Jamie Snowden continues to have his string in remarkable form, he will look to continue that here with the unexposed CINQUENTA.

The Lambourn yard has been operating at over a 40% strike-rate for November, and this is another good opportunity to boost that record with this five-year-old, who showed some good form in defeat in his three bumpers. He finished third on all three occasions, but showed plenty of ability in finishing behind the likes of Sober Glory and No Drama This End.

That collateral form is working out really well, and he can take a step forward now in calmer waters for his debut over Hurdles. Cinquenta arrives having had a wind operation and steps up in trip; both look positive factors heading into this small field assignment.

Gavin Sheehan is in the saddle, and this combination looks capable of putting up a bold show.

Lingfield - 2.45 Followcato

I like the chances here of FOLLOWCATO here for the Ben Pauling team. This Handicap Chase looks wide-open, and this six-year-old can make amends after his mishap on Chase debut at this track last week, where he slipped and unseated his rider at the second fence.

With a clear round here, I think he can prove a lot better than a mark of 113, and that rating has a lot of upside to it. He ran well in the EBF Final and his third-placed effort behind Newton Tornado at Ffos Las looks good form.

He looks to have the scope to make into a better Chaser than Hurdler, and I think connections will be confident he can get involved at the business end of proceedings. Ben Jones takes the ride, and with no dramas at his fences, he can land the spoils here. 

Lingfield - 3.15 Scorpio Rising

Olly Murphy and Sean Bowen have been a combination that have fired in the winners over the last couple of months, and recent Perth scorer SCORPIO RISING looks to have a massive chance of making it two wins on the spin.

He won with plenty of authority at Perth on his season reappearance, and looks open to any amount of improvement as he now steps into handicap company. He looks quite comfortable with cut in the ground, so underfoot conditions should be perfect for him, and in regard to Bowen, you have a jockey who keeps producing outrageously good rides.

Scorpio Rising gets the nod from me here, where he can prove to be a well-handicapped individual.
