Celebrity Big Brother odds: who's the favourite heading into the final day?
This year’s Celebrity Big Brother is nearly over, with the winner being unveiled in Friday’s episode. Six of the original 13 stars remain after Tuesday night’s triple eviction, and since then the odds have shifted firmly in favour of one housemate.
Drag queen and singer Danny Beard is the odds-on favourite to win the second series of the revamped show. Coronation Street star Jack P. Shepherd is second favourite, having been up for the first two evictions. Shepherd has been given odds of 7/4. At the other end of the betting, musician Chesney Hawkes seemingly has little chance of being crowned the winner, with odds of 50/1.

Tuesday night saw the first-ever triple eviction. Former EastEnders star Patsy Palmer was evicted along with Ella Rae Wise from The Only Way Is Essex and Angelica Bell, the former CBBC presenter.
Olympian Daley Thompson, presenter Trisha Goddard, and politician Michael Fabricant have already been voted out of the house, while Hollywood star Mickey Rourke agreed to leave by mutual consent after being warned for making homophobic comments to fellow housemates.
Housemates are no longer able to vote to put one another up for eviction and the remaining six will find out who is the winner of a final public vote on Friday night. Viewers can now vote for who they want to win from the final six contestants.
Winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 4, Danny Beard, described himself as “really easygoing”. Beard has featured heavily in the series and his strong performances in tasks have made him popular with viewers.
Jack P. Shepherd faced a rocky start in the house, being put for eviction in the first two votes. However, his fellow housemates have warmed to the star, who has played David Platt in ITV’s Coronation Street since 2000 and he has already survived two public votes. Shepherd is now the second favourite and could sneak the win.
JoJo Siwa appeared in the reality show Dance Moms in 2015 and 2016. She has formed a strong relationship with fellow housemate Chris Hughes and gained some sympathy following her bust-up with Mickey Rourke.
Actress Donna Preston is considered an outside chance, at best, to be named the winner, despite the fact she hasn’t been put up for eviction once and has proven to be quite popular with viewers.
Chris Hughes, on the other hand, has caused a significant stir with fellow housemates and viewers. Several of the celebs, including Daley Thompson, have accused him of professional game playing, pointing to his relationship with JoJo Siwa as being evidence of that. According to the odds, he is now likely to be one of the first two to leave the house on Friday.
Chesney Hawkes has been given the longest odds by bookmakers and is most likely to leave the house first. In the face-to-face nominations on Tuesday night, he came under fire from Ella Rae Wide for not standing up to Mickey Rourke when he targeted sexualised comments at the TOWIE star.
