Ted's Treble: Racing picks from Hereford and Fairyhouse
Ed Quigley was amongst the winners over the weekend and is back once again with his best bets for Tuesday's action.
Fairyhouse - 1.43 Sandor Clegane
6/4 @ Ladbrokes
SANDOR CLEGANE is a bit of an enigma, but is more than capable of landing a race of this nature. The eight-year-old hasn't kicked on from the early promise he displayed when he was placed at Grade 1 level as a Novice Hurdler, going close at the Cheltenham Festival, and then ran really well in the 2024 Brown Advisory, when fourth to the mighty Fact To File.
His form, especially over fences, has plateaued since, but he is calmer waters here compared to some recent assignments. Sandor Clegane wasn't disgraced in the Kerry National last time out over a trip that possibly stretched him, and this 2m4f looks as though it will suit.
If he brings his A-game to the table, then he is more than capable of dispatching his rivals here. Paul Nolan's charge is quirky, but has lots of ability, and can get back in the winner's enclosure here with Sean O'Keefe in the saddle.

Hereford - 2.45 Imac Wood
9/1 @ Coral
IMAC WOOD comes alive at this venue, and looks to have every chance of bouncing back, returning to this Course and Distance with plenty of rain forecast not being a problem.
A 118-day break should have done the seven-year-old a world of good, and the Deborah Cole-trained gelding, who has two C&D wins on the CV, can add another here. From a handicapping point of view, the accessor is starting to relinquish their grip.
Imac Wood gets to run off 108 - now 2lb lower than when last successful, so the combination of the return to this track, coupled with what looks like a lenient mark, bodes well. James Bowen is having a cracking time of things at the moment - something that is often overlooked due to his brother's heroics.
Imac Wood could be the value play here in a race that has a fairly wide-open look to it.

Hereford - 3.55 One Cool Dreamer
5/1 @ William Hill
ONE COOL DREAMER is one to take note of as he heads into Handicap company over Hurdles for the first time. The four-year-old should be fit from the flat, having run at Kempton last month, having finished fourth.
For his level on the flat, he does have a lot of upside now, going handicapping off a lowly mark of 97. He has shown ability in just two starts over Hurdles to date, and he has the potential to be a lot better than his current rating.
The Alan King team are in great form at the moment, operating at around a 35% strike-rate for November, and One Cool Dreamer looks poised to pounce. Tom Bellamy, who has a more senior role with the yard now, takes the ride, and this unexposed sort should have a lot more to offer.
There are a few out-of-sorts individuals against him, and this youngster looks to have a cracking opportunity of getting off the mark for the first time over obstacles.
