"This lad is a big boy, and I was pleased with his effort when runner-up at Hereford, considering he was green and lost a shoe. He is raw and unfurnished, so I won't rush him. He should be a lovely long-term project."
Bill Baxter
"What a star he has been for us, and the win at Punchestown was a great day. He will go for a Pertemps Qualifier at Newbury to remove the ring-rust and then head to the Becher Chase. He is rising 10 now but is showing me all the right signs at home, and if he went and won a Becher Chase, then I suppose naturally we would have to have a think about a crack at the Grand National. When he is on song he is very smart."

"He will have a racecourse gallop and then he will run at Cheltenham next week. The 3m3f Handicap Chase would be my preferred option, but we will have a look at the Amateur race too. Deep ground will be no bother for him if we get that type of ground in the next couple of months, and if all goes well next week, then we will be looking at the Welsh Grand National. That is the type of race I could see him running a big race in."

"Hopefully he can progress , and he goes to Wincanton on Saturday with a chance. I won't be afraid to step him up to 3m at some point in the future. Winter ground would be no good to him, so we will plot our way along."
Keep Running
"He goes to Fontwell on Friday for a spin over Hurdles and then will go Chasing. You can put a line through the Punchestown run at the end of last season, as he lost the plot in the build-up and the occasion got to him - I don't think he particularly likes travelling, so I will look at fairly local courses. I'm looking forward to seeing him over a fence, and he should be smart over 2m4f. To be seen at his best he probably needs to go right-handed, so the likes of Kempton and Huntingdon fit the bill for him."

"I love this horse and he should come on a lot for his Chase debut at Uttoxeter. It was his first start after a wind operation, and that should have blown the cobwebs away. There is a race at Newbury at the end of November that I have my eye on for him."
Mighty Bandit
"I'm not buying the fact that what we see is what he is in the National Hunt game; so I'm going to school him over fences and see how he gets on. If he really takes to them, then we will crack on over the larger obstacles; if not, he will go back over Hurdles - I remain convinced we haven't got to the bottom of him yet."

"I think he will come on a huge amount for his Chase debut. Newton Abbot is a tight enough track, and it will sharpen him up mentally more than anything. We will look for a more galloping test over 2m next time out, and I have no doubt we will explore 2m4f after Christmas."
Tedwin Hills
"He was a bit unlucky after he joined me last season, but I've got the hang of him now, and he has been fantastic in his last two starts. I will look at Lingfield or Newcastle for him next week to try and strike whilst he is in good form, and before the Handicapper catches up with him.
Village Master
"He will go to Exeter on Friday. I think he is still a big baby that keeps on improving, so there should be plenty more to come. Proper winter ground wouldn't be on his wishlist, so you won't see him when the weather really turns, and we will bring him back in the spring. If we could get into the Kim Muir or something like that in March, that would be great."
