As one of the flagship events of the British sporting summer, Wimbledon is very much coming into view and the two hottest properties on the ATP Tour look to be leading the charge.

Following their epic encounter in the final of Roland Garros, both Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner will be seeking another bumper grand slam fortnight here at SW19.

The grass courts at the All England Club in south-west London produce incredible moments, year in, year out. While Alcaraz and Sinner are the men to beat, there are plenty of hopefuls chasing their place in Wimbledon folklore in 2025.

With a week to go until the drama begins at Wimbledon, here are some of our best value ante-post picks in the men’s draw. 

Jack Draper

British tennis always looks to have somebody to hang their hopes upon and Jack Draper will be carrying the can at Wimbledon this year.

The 23-year-old has really come of age on the ATP Tour this year, with some consistent performances across all surfaces and he is operating at a career high of fourth in the world rankings.

Much like his age group peers Sinner and Alcaraz, Draper is adept at playing on all surfaces, but his game does look to be well-suited to grass, and he enjoyed a strong run to the semi-finals at Queen’s last week.

Draper will get big court billings this year at Wimbledon and should be backed to the hilt by the patrons, with his seeding sure to give him some draw protection too, which could also work for your in-play tennis betting too.

Alex De Minaur

Australian Alex De Minaur has a very decent record at Wimbledon, and he will be hoping some grass court tennis can kick start his 2025.

Having been bumped out of Queen’s by eventual finalist Jiri Lehecka, he should have plenty of time to get his game in shape here, as he looks to build on his run to the last 8 in 2024.

Overcoming the likes of Sinner and Alcaraz continues to be the main challenge for De Minaur. But he remains on the periphery of the world’s top 10, and his fighting spirit endears him to supporters.

Replicating his run to the quarters last year carries extra importance for De Minaur, with ranking points to defend – which should serve as additional motivation for the man from Sydney.

He will need to find his A-game quickly, but the ‘Demon’ looks great value to reach the last eight at 4/1 with BetMGM.

Carlos Alcaraz

The situation at the top of the men’s game continues to become clearer than ever, as both Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner dominate the rankings and each tournament.

Having prevailed in such dramatic circumstances over Sinner in the final of the French Open, Alcaraz appears to have the mental edge over his great adversary, at this point in their respective careers.

By winning in Paris, Alcaraz extended his record in grand slam finals to 5 wins from 5 appearances and his unwavering belief could carry him over the line once again.

Fresh off the back of another great week at Queen’s, Alcaraz is the defending champion at the All-England club, and he looks good value lift the famous trophy once again at 13/8 with ZetBet.

Wimbledon 2025: WTA top three value picks 

With a firmly established top two in the men’s game, there are three players very much leading the way on the WTA Tour.

World number one Aryna Sabalenka continues to set the standard, with her consistency across all three surfaces setting her ranking apart from the chasing pack.

Behind her, 2025 French Open champion Coco Gauff is hot on her heels, as she returns to the scene of her breakthrough as a 15-year-old in 2019. Alongside her, is five-time grand slam winner Iga Swiatek.

However, all three players are yet to taste victory here at SW19 and with no woman retaining the title at Wimbledon since Serena Williams in 2016, there is once again a very open feel to the tournament in 2025.

Emma Navarro

It has been an inauspicious first half of 2025 for Emma Navarro, but she will be hoping to bring out her best game on the grass at Wimbledon over the next fortnight.

The American burst onto the scene with her win over Coco Gauff at SW19 last year, before going on to be ousted by finalist Jasmine Paolini in the last eight.

Her game has been inconsistent this term, but her punchy groundstrokes look made for grass and she has reached the quarter finals in three of her last four grand slams.

Being ninth seed is never the easiest position in the draw. But Navarro won’t fear any of the big guns and she looks well placed to reach the quarter finals once again this year.

A run to the last eight again would represent a good week for Navarro and she looks in decent shape at 7/2 with BetMGM to progress to at least the quarters.

Madison Keys

Australian Open champion Madison Keys is becoming one of the most consistent performers on the WTA Tour and her game looks tailormade for grass.

Winning in Melbourne was the proverbial grand slam monkey off the back for Keys, and she backed it up with a great run to the last eight at Roland Garros.

Remarkably, Keys has never gone beyond the quarter finals at Wimbledon but from sixth seed this time around, she should have a few rounds to find her feet.

There are plenty of contenders in the mix, but Keys looks well placed to win her quarter and reach the last four at Wimbledon for the first time at 5/1 with Mr Play.

Aryna Sabalenka

For all the potential contenders to the throne, there is no doubting that Aryna Sabalenka is currently the number one female player in the world.

Defeats in her last two grand slam finals in Melbourne and Paris will sting Sabalenka, who is looking to add to her tally of three career major titles.

Runs to the semi-finals in 2021 and 2023 ultimately ended in disappointment for Sabalenka but she looks to have the mental strength needed to win big tournaments these days.

Winning a first Wimbledon title would be a seismic moment for Sabalenka and she will lead the market at SW19 over the next couple of weeks and she is our tip to lift the trophy at 11/4 with ZetBet.
