Jadon Sancho next club odds: Manchester United stay most likely
Jadon Sancho has endured a tumultuous few years since departing Borussia Dortmund for Manchester United in 2021. Once dubbed England’s next superstar, the 25-year-old is set to spend this summer hunting for potential suitors.
Having spent 2024/25 on loan at Chelsea - during which time Sancho racked up five goals and eight assists in 41 appearances - the London outfit rejected the opportunity to pay £25million for his services on a permanent basis this week. Damningly, the Blues opted to pay £5m to send him back to Old Trafford.

Instead, the winger returns to United as surplus to requirements; United are expected to sanction a move away when the transfer window opens. So, where do the UK’s best bookmakers believe Sancho might end up next?
Manchester United – 7/4 (BetMGM)
Although Jim Ratcliffe and co. have expressed an eagerness to cut down on expenses, offloading Jadon Sancho may prove more difficult than many would like.
With a weekly wage valued at around £300,000, few clubs would dare match the Englishman’s current contract terms. In fact, recent reporting suggests that personal terms stood as the main sticking point during discussions with Chelsea over a possible deal.
While United remain keen on moving Sancho to pastures anew, BetMGM’s 7/4 represents good value for a player who likely won’t want to give up such a mighty salary.
Borussia Dortmund – 3/1 (bet365)
Sancho achieved double digits for goals and assists during his three-season spell with Borussia Dortmund – with those figures culminating in a dream move to Manchester United.
In 2023/24, Sancho returned to the German outfit; scoring three times and providing two assists in 21 outings. Although not quite in the same echelon as his previous Bundesliga endeavours, the 25-year-old remains a fan favourite at Signal Iduna Park.
Given his affinity for Dortmund - a city he has publicly called “home” - a switch to Niko Kovac’s side is certainly worth considering at 3/1 with bet365.
Any Saudi Arabian team – 4/1 (Betfred)
Four Saudi Arabian clubs are backed by the country’s ‘public investment fund’ – allowing Al-Ahli, Al Nassr, Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal to splash serious cash.
Sancho’s personal requirements, therefore, would not stand in the way of a move. Rather, the main issue is whether Saudi Arabian teams view him as a worthwhile investment.
Betfred have posted this transfer at 4/1 – pinning Saudi Arabia’s Pro League as a possible port of call for the ex-Manchester City youth product.
Aston Villa – 8/1 (William Hill)
Unai Emery has recently demonstrated a willingness to welcome big-name players who have been pushed to one side at their former clubs, with Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio two high-profile examples.
The club’s ability to transform the fortunes of struggling attackers suits Sancho’s current circumstance to a tee - but a lack of Champions League football and subsequently, prize money, may force the club to consider alternative options.
However, if any English side is to sign Jadon Sancho, it’s probably Aston Villa. At 8/1 with William Hill, it’s a potentially worthwhile selection.
