USA lead odds despite European confidence
Following confirmation of both teams, Entain-owned bookies have Europe (5/4, Ladbrokes) behind the USA (4/5, Coral) to win this year’s Ryder Cup.
These odds somewhat fly in the face of recent history – as it’s just two years since Europe hammered the USA 16 ½ -11 ½ with a near-identical lineup. Further, Europe have beaten the USA 12 times to the USA’s nine since 1979.

With all of this in mind, a bet on Europe may serve as good value for money. Matchbook (8/5) currently offers the best odds on this selection.
Such close odds reflect real potential for a draw, too; an outcome seen just twice in the tournament’s history (1969 and 1989). A bet on a stalemate could reap titanic rewards – with 10bet’s 12/1 odds particularly mouth-watering.

Ryder Cup teams: Europe & USA players revealed
Europe’s team captain, Luke Donald, announced an experienced lineup for the upcoming tournament, with several of 2023’s triumphant roster making the cut.
Rory McIlroy, Robert MacIntyre, Tommy Fleetwood, Justin Rose, Rasmus Hojgaard, Tyrrell Hatton, Shane Lowry, Jon Rahm, Sep Strakka, Ludvig Adberg, Viktor Hovland and Matt Fitzpatrick will face a US side led by 2011 PGA Championship winner, Keegan Bradley.

Bradley opted against picking himself, and Team USA will take to the green with Scottie Scheffler, J.J. Spaun, Xander Schauffele, Russell Henley, Harris English, Bryson DeChambeau, Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Ben Griffin, Cameron Young, Patrick Cantlay and Sam Burns.
Four of those US contenders are set to make their Ryder Cup debut – and UK bookmakers are now offering odds on the top USA rookie points scorer.

Significant value in correct score market
Each of the previous five Ryder Cups have seen the winning team outscore the losing side by at least five points.
The widest gap during that period was in 2021, when Team USA sealed victory by 19-9 at Whistling Straits. A repeat of that scoreline is considered unlikely – but BoyleSports’ 33/1 odds on this outcome in 2025 suggest it’s not entirely impossible.
For a more down-to-earth bet based on recent results, consider backing Europe at 16 ½ - 11 ½ (12/1, BetVictor). Or, if you’re after a realistic score that reflects the tight-knit nature of this year’s tournament, BetVictor have Europe to win 15 ½ - 12 ½ at a solid 14/1.
Correct score | Best bookmaker odds |
USA 14 ½ - 13 ½ | 11/1 (BoyleSports) |
USA 15 - 13 | 11/1 (BoyleSports) |
Europe 15 - 13 | 12/1 (BetVictor) |
Draw 14 - 14 | 12/1 (BoyleSports) |
Europe 16 ½ - 11 ½ | 14/1 (BoyleSports) |
Europe 17 - 11 | 16/1 (Spreadex) |
USA 17 - 11 | 16/1 (BoyleSports) |
