Manchester United transfer odds: Donnarumma could solve keeper headache with Hojlund off
Manchester United have had a busy summer transfer window so far, with the Red Devils attempting to get back to form after a disappointing 2024-25 campaign.
Even though there has already been heavy investment, the 13-time Premier League champions aren’t finished in the market just yet.

Ruben Amorim has brought in the likes of Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko to bolster his attacking options. However, there is still work to be done on the defensive side of his squad, which is where attention will be placed before the window shuts.
Of course, PSR is something that Manchester United still need to balance, which is why there could also be several outgoings. With Alejandro Garnacho expected to join Chelsea and the future of Jadon Sancho up in the air, there could be plenty of activity taking place.
We look at how the club’s final days in the transfer window might look in terms of incomings and outgoings, according to the UK’s best bookmakers.
United are in the market for a goalkeeper
While United have made drastic improvements to their attacking options, there are still significant question marks over their goalkeepers, which was not helped by their opening-day defeat to Arsenal.
Andre Onana - who the club signed for £47.2million from Inter Milan - was axed from the match-day squad, while Altay Bayindir left a lot to be desired for his role in the only goal of the game.
Amorim can ill-afford another season of issues in one of the most important areas of the squad, which is why the Red Devils are expected to sign a goalkeeper. Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma might end up being the solution to that issue.
The 26-year-old kept five clean sheets last season in Ligue 1 for Paris Saint-Germain and United are at 7/2 with bet365 to sign him this summer. Although they do face competition from their noisy neighbours, as Manchester City are 2/3 favourites with Ladbrokes.

Hojlund may look for regular game time elsewhere
While much of the focus is on who might be joining United this summer, the club still has several players it hopes to offload, including Rasmus Hojlund.
The Denmark international had a difficult second season in the Premier League during the previous campaign, scoring just four times in 32 appearances in the English top flight.
That comes after he failed to set the division alight in his first season when he managed to score 10 times in the Premier League. With several new faces being brought in at the top end of the pitch, it appears Hojlund is heading for the exit door.
Italian side Napoli are in the running for the 22-year-old, and are at 4/9 with bet365 currently, as he could look to link up with former United team-mate Scott McTominay.
Meanwhile, Newcastle are at 10/1 with bet365, with the Magpies potentially needing to enter the market for a striker at the last minute if Alexander Isak departs the club for Liverpool.

United to splash the cash on Baleba?
United are potentially set to offload Kobbie Mainoo this summer, and if that sale goes through, there could be some space in the central midfield for new recruitment, and Carlos Baleba is believed to be top of that list.
However, any move for Baleba will be costly, as Brighton are believed to be looking for over £100m for the midfielder. The Seagulls have had no problem being a selling club over the years, but they have always ensured any departures are financially beneficial.
United are at 8/13 to sign Baleba with William Hill, which is an implied probability of 61.5%. However, other clubs within the Premier League are also monitoring his situation, with Chelsea also interested and placed at 9/2 by William Hill.
Lille are set to receive 15% of any sale of the Brighton midfielder, and that could prove to be a stumbling block for any team making a late swoop for the 21-year-old.
