Ted’s Treble: The Stuart Edmunds gelding who will ‘come alive’ at Leicester
Leicester - 1.30 One Eye On Vegas
This can go the way of ONE EYE ON VEGAS, who, as his record suggests, comes alive at this venue!
He won this race 12 months ago taking his tally to two wins from two starts over Course and Distance. Last year's win came off a BHA mark of 107, so getting in here just 2lb higher this time around looks perfectly fair.

He ran a very solid race to be runner up at Wetherby last time out, and that should have him spot on for today's assignment, as he was entitled to have needed the run on the back of a 295-day absence.
Conditions should suit, and this looks a good opportunity for the Stuart Edmunds representative to get back in the winner's enclosure. The yard has had a couple of winners in the last week and the defending champion should be more than capable of getting involved at the business end of proceedings once again.
Market Rasen - 1.50 Mac's Legacy
A few of Rebecca Curtis' horses have been improving massively for their seasonal reappearance, and the Welsh handler has her string in decent form at present.
MAC'S LEGACY is still a maiden, but has threatened that a win isn't far away, and shaped nicely when third at Ffos Las last month on the comeback trail after 567 days off the track.
The form of that race looks pretty hot - the winner finished second in a good race subsequently, and the runner-up from the Ffos Las heat has since gone on to bolt up.
So, all in all, this looks a good opportunity to get off the mark for the first time; it doesn't look the deepest of races, and the in-form Jamie Brace is in the saddle claiming 5lb. This step back up in trip should benefit, and I like the claims of this lightly-raced eight-year-old.
Wincanton - 3.10 Special John
There was a lot to like about the Chase debut of SPECIAL JOHN, who got the job done over fences at the first time of asking. It was the six-year-old's first start for Sam Thomas, and he jumped well stepping up in trip at Exeter.
He looked to enjoy the proper test of stamina, and it is under even more scrutiny here, as moves up to an extended 3m2f for the first time. He is thoroughly unexposed, and gives the impression that there should be lots more to come from him in staying Handicap Chases.
Underfoot conditions should be spot on for him, and raised to an official mark of 100, he has the scope to progress beyond his current rating.
Dylan Johnston takes the ride for the Sam Thomas team who have been amongst the winners lately, and this combination looks to have rock solid claims of making it two wins on the spin.
