2025 French Open: Roland Garros value tips betting predictions

Following a gruelling run of events on the clay in Europe, the 2025 French Open looms large, as the second major of the year gets underway at Roland Garros.

With some of the biggest names on both the ATP and WTA tours picking up valuable wins in recent weeks, it feels as if there are plenty of candidates for the titles – in both the men’s and women’s event.

Last week in Rome it was all about home favourite Jasmine Paolini, who romped to the title at the Italian Open, picking up both the singles and doubles crown.

The return of world number one Jannik Sinner made all the headlines in the men’s draw and while he made it to the final, Carlos Alcaraz showed his teeth to lift the trophy.

Alcaraz has been the dominant force on clay for 12 months or so and defends his title here in Paris, while Iga Swiatek is chasing a fourth consecutive French Open women’s singles crown.

Paris at the end of May/start of June is a city brimming with tennis-filled anticipation and it promises to be another memorable fortnight in the French capital.

There’s still the small matter of the ATP Hamburg and Geneva Open’s tips to run the rule over - with Alexander Zverev taking a late wildcard in Germany - but here’s our FIRST look at the French Open value plays.

Coco Gauff - to win the tournament - 7/1

(BetMGM)

World number three Coco Gauff has been clicking into gear superbly in recent weeks and she looks to have her game exactly where she wants it ahead of the French Open.

Runs to the final in both Madrid (loss to Sabalenka) and Rome (loss to Paolini) have been hugely impressive and she is asserting herself as a real challenger on every surface.

Having reached the final here at Roland Garros back in 2022, she clearly has what it takes to go deep in Paris and her game looks to be in a place where she is ready to win another major.

Gauff will be seeded three here in Paris, so will need to overcome the obvious obstacles of either Aryna Sabalenka or Iga Swiatek at some point but she has beaten both of them in the past 12 months.

Coco Gauff represents very good value to go all the way and lift her maiden French Open singles title at 7/1 with BetMGM.

Jannik Sinner/Carlos Alcaraz - to reach the final - 5/2

There appears to be a chasm opening between the world’s top two and the chasing pack on the ATP Tour.

Both Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz have their games in excellent places ahead of the French Open and it is the final many people want to see in Paris this year.

Sinner’s return to action was seamless in Rome last week, asserting his status as world number one but Alcaraz blew him away in the final.

With both men having to win six matches each to reach the finale in Paris, it is far from a foregone conclusion, but a Sinner vs Alcaraz French Open final has the makings of an all-time classic.

Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz to reach the final appeals at a very tempting 5/2 with Mr.Play.

Lorenzo Musetti - to reach the last four - 5/1

While Sinner and Alcaraz continue to dominate the headlines on the ATP Tour, Lorenzo Musetti has been making waves over the past 12 months.

Following his run to the semi-finals at Wimbledon, he has steadily climbed his way up the rankings and now sits firmly inside the world’s top 10.

The young Italian is still finding his feet on the clay, but he reached the final in Monte Carlo this year and comes into this one off the back of last four runs in Madrid and Rome.

He may need a touch of luck to avoid Sinner and Alcaraz in his side of the draw, but will be seeded 8th, so should have some draw protection.

Musetti is bang in form and will give anybody a game on his day and he looks good value to win his quarter and reach the last four at 5/1 with ZetBet.
