Jose Mourinho next club odds: Who will Jose Mourinho manage next?
The latest chapter of Jose Mourinho’s illustrious managerial career came to a close last week, as Fenerbahce sacked ‘The Special One’ after Fener missed out on Champions League qualification following their playoff defeat to Benfica.
The 62-year-old is on the lookout for a new job, having previously managed in his native Portugal, England, Italy, Spain and Turkey most recently.

Considered one of the greatest football managers of all-time, it’ll only be a matter of time until Mourinho is back in a dugout if he fancies carrying on.
So, where is Jose’s next managerial destination?
Nottingham Forest (10/3) are currently under the stewardship of a Portuguese manager – Nuno Espirito Santo – but the much-publicised relationship between the Tricky Trees boss and Forest hierarchy is strained.
A move to the City Ground and return to the Premier League is deemed Mourinho’s most likely destination after he admitted that he would be “open” to succeeding his compatriot and taking the reigns at the Reds.
Rangers (5/1) are winless in their first four Scottish Premiership matches, with the Gers going through their worst start to a season since 1983.
Pressure is continuing to pile up on Russell Martin, and ‘The Special One’ has been very vocal in his admiration of both Rangers and bitter rivals Celtic.
Mourinho came to Ibrox last season with Fenerbahce, being knocked out of the Europa League by Barry Ferguson’s Rangers.
A member of the legendary ‘Largs Mafia’, he sat some of his coaching badges in Scotland and may fancy heading to Glasgow at this stage of his career should the opportunity arise.
Bayer Leverkusen (5/1) sacked Erik Ten Hag on 1 September, with Die Werkself winless in their opening two Bundesliga matches.
Despite being a reigning European champion with both Porto and Inter Milan, Mourinho has never managed in Germany before.

The challenge would be to return Leverkusen to their fantastic best, as the season before last Die Schwarzroten became the first Germany club to win the league or domestic double unbeaten under Xabi Alonso’s guidance.
One of Mourinho’s most high-profile jobs was with Chelsea, leading the Blues to three Premier League titles in his time at Stamford Bridge. He’s also managed Tottenham Hotspur, one of just a few teams he went trophyless with.
However, the bookies have said that West Ham United (6/1) could be the latest club to give him the chance to head back to London.
The Irons picked up a huge weekend win, their first Premier League victory of the season over the aforementioned Nottingham Forest at the City Ground, so Graham Potter may have just bought himself some extra time in the Hammers hotseat.
A Middle Eastern adventure, with any Saudi Premier League club (13/2) is less likely than Mourinho managing Nottingham Forest, Rangers, Bayer Leverkusen or West Ham according to the bookmakers.
Other intriguing opportunities in America at any MLS club, Leeds United or with the Portuguese national team are all priced at 14/1.
Returns to former clubs Manchester United (17/1), FC Porto (20/1), Chelsea (25/1), Benfica (33/1), Real Madrid (33/1) and Inter Milan (33/1) are deemed a lot less likely.
