2024/25 Premier League manager odds: Who will get sacked next?
IMAGO
Premier League managers fight for their jobs from the beginning of the season through to its end. Nothing is guaranteed in England’s top flight – and every coach is at risk of ‘the sack’.
As the 2024/25 Premier League season fast approaches its climax, several clubs are battling to avoid relegation and qualify for European football next season. Such jeopardy can make or break a manager’s position.

No head coach is more acutely aware of this fact than Leicester City’s Ruud van Nistelrooy. Having taken over from Steve Cooper in December 2024, following a short stint as Manchester United interim manager, the 48-year-old Dutchman has struggled to spark any sort of momentum.
Leicester have taken just three points from their last six outings and sit 19th in the standings. In turn, Coral price van Nistlerooy as favourite to exit the league next, at 4/6.
The unpredictability of this year’s Premier League means that ‘no manager to leave’ is second behind van Nistelrooy at 7/2.
Such a price may come as a surprise considering Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs’ struggles — the North London outfit are wallowing in the bottom half of the Premier League table and the Australian native is 9/2 to leave — but there is solid logic tied to these odds.
Above all else, Tottenham owner Daniel Levy is keen to provide Postecoglou with ample time to apply his style of play; the club’s 14 league defeats as of mid-March could be attributed to injuries just as much as tactical errors.
Southampton’s Ivan Juric was brought in to rescue the side from near-certain peril. His arrival has not resulted in tangible improvement and this is reflected in the Croatian national being Coral’s fourth favourite to depart, at 11/2, before the final round of games.
Ruben Amorim may have only joined Manchester United in November – but the former Sporting manager has yet to demonstrate a noticeable positive impact on the team. Now floundering in 14th after 28 matches, Coral have understandably priced Amorim to leave at 16/1.
Enzo Maresca and Pep Guardiola are next on the docket, with both managers at 20/1.
The pair have struggled to maintain pace with league leaders, Liverpool, but neither coach is at real risk of exiting their respective clubs before the season’s conclusion unless something inconceivable happens in April or May.
Ipswich Town manager Keiran McKenna took the club from the Championship to the Premier League in 2023/24. His efforts to achieve a second successive season in Europe’s most-watched division have been admirable – but a difficult end-of-season run-in comprising trips to Chelsea and Newcastle, as well as meetings with Nottingham Forest and Arsenal, have virtually sealed the side’s fate.
Nonetheless, McKenna’s work with the squad has been impressive, and this much is reflected by Coral pricing his potential departure at 50/1.
Likewise, Vitor Pereira has overseen notable Wolves displays in 2025. Now 17th and six points clear of the drop-zone, Pereira is 50/1 to exit Molineux.
Coral lists each of the league’s remaining managers at 100/1 to vacate their positions next.
